it's a good video. Love it! I think it's not applicable in most of the other countries yet as the charging facilities are not well developed. Location and uptime of the charging station are important as well. Would love to drive an electric car if only charging is convenient easily accessible, otherwise still prefer PHEV for the moment.
So the question for me did the Mark E do 1000 miles cus it look like it did a short cut
i really appropriate your work , in term of quality honesty and interning , but as car enthusiast it really bother me to represent cars as just piece of tech for tech reviewers to review
Well done. You succinctly describe the primary variables, range, charging speed, and charging network to give the audience and objective feel for the road trip experience. I own a Tesla model 3 SR+, and your description of the difference between the EPA range and reality aligns with my experience. I'm supposed to get about 250 miles on a full charge but get closer to 220 at best. But the Tesla supercharger network makes that misleading range almost irrelevant. I don't hesitate to take a trip and view charging stops as an opportunity for a break.
My next car will definitely not be electric. In the country I live, chargers (let alone superchargers) are super scarce. So, unless things improve in this aspect – petrol/hybrid.
I’m a Norwegian living in Norway. Of course it will be electric. 💁♂️🇳🇴 ⚡️
Looks like an objective video with Tesla name behind
How can the chargers be so bad?? its just a charger how can they break so often?
Why does it seem like there are so many chargers broken or offline? And can you charge the Tesla at a public charger?
I assume, that my next company owned car, which is due in about 3 years, will be electric. Our company started handing out Model 3's for a a year or so.
Ford just needs to add a feature. Report charger, it's not working.
plug on tesla roof solar panel ad wind generator and supply into charging, you got none stop tesla oh not your general shape solar or wind generator, I can't buy tesla in this life time but someday hope I can own cheap electric car then I will custom it for free energy car
Thats an aweful lot of blue chargers that dont work in a specific area…
Next time, make sure you charge the EVs overnight at the hotel. I know it's not available everywhere, but this is something I would normally look for with accommodations. Cuts off time and cost.
For me, I'm gonna buy a car, doesn't matter if it's ICE or EV, once I get a job or maybe somebody donated money on my bank account.
All ev should have a standard charging facility.
Even if there were as many chargers per km2 in Poland I would still not buy an electric car. To me it's just a toy that I could use to drive in the city I live in or use it for a small one day trip.
In India we have one more fuel option CNG
Is there any channel who have done a similar test with petrol electric and CNG in india
A very detailed video of a road trip with all the real world struggles of driving an EV…. If I ever get a chance I would definitely buy a Tesla over any gas car…. Thanks for this beautiful video ….
The Tesla is too expensive. If they made something like a ioniq for 25-35k I would def buy it
Electric to reduce CO2 emissions. We're entering a Global Warming Crises
Result: Gas car good, EV sucks.
I think the thing that surprised me the most were how similar in cost the EV charges were to just paying for gas in a regular car! I thought that was supposed to be one of the huge selling points of EV’s was that charging them would be drastically cheaper than refuelling with gas. And sure a $20 difference isn’t nothing, I think I’d just assumed that it’d be a much wider gap.
Tesla must have paid you a lot!!
My next car will be a used one with a petrol engine, because I dont have money for a new car, especially for electric ( those are expensive AF ).
Great video
19:00 if I even get one in the first place, gas – in Europe the charging ifrastructure is worse and electricity a lot more expensive (like 10x-20x more than britains pay here in Germany)
I dont think that would be easy done in europe
Honestly thought the cost for EVs woulda been significantly lower, roughly a 10% diff, but hey better for environment and way silent(er)
10:10 interesting how much longer you need for that distance than you'd need in Europe even when you're stuck in traffic jams for an hour…. Probably the speed limits..
promoting tesla on another level…
Trust me… the battery cannot hold the power much long… the battery will out cannot be charge anymore in 1years of use..
My next car will be used and gas, but my next new car will be electric.
Wait what day did you do this? I did a trip 4 days ago I could have ran into you and not even known!
You can’t compare an electric saloon to a heavy suv.
wow! hope you hit 50m subs in no time
If I ever get an ev, I wouldn’t go anywhere without a generator.
