Make sure you watch until the end to get the full story! Could you take advantage of a drive this fast?
The usb ports need 20 gbps speeds i think in order for the drive to push all that data transfer speeds
Just bought this drive and have experiences some drop-outs (connect/disconnect) issues. I have read that other people have also experienced this as well. Anybody has any thoughts as to why? I have a 2017 iMac 5k 3.4Ghz Mac OS High Sierra configuration. I have formatted the drive and will continue testing (I did not format initially because it was already formatted for Mac). Thanks in advance for any insight.
Thought it had a transfer speed of 560Mbps… that’s what I’ve read on the packaging, but you say 2100-2500Mbps?
I’ve also seen speeds of 40Gbps, and some are bundled with a USB -C or Thunderbolt?
So… yours has a Thunderbolt cable that gives you a faster transfer speed of 2100 – 2500Mbps, so.. what about the 40GBps statement?
Best regards,
Dave.
2800MB! Who cares, show me more of those screws man.
Will you notice a big difference running Photoshop files off of this drive when compared to a standard USB-C SSDs like the Samsung T5?
I bought 2 of these drives and push them fairly hard. They are super fast and extremely reliable. Only con is how expensive they are.
blah blah blah does it work with iPhone otherwise its not that portable use
Where is Jeff though
Man this needs to be at 4TB or 8TB version… 8K RAW will fill this up quickly
What’s Thunderbolt?
